| If the Deposit amount is paid by cash the upper limit is Rs. 20000. Cheques or demand drafts will be appreciated above this amount. |
| Tax at sourse will be deducted if the interest amt payable in 1 financial year exceeds Rs. 5000. To avoid this senior citizens should fill up the "15-H" form and NRIs should fill up the "15-G" form, stating that you are not assessed to Income Tax in India. These forms will be made available by us on demand. |
