UPSC Optional Batches

If you look at UPSC toppers’ scorecards, one thing is very clear, good score in the optional subject is instrumental in getting a good rank in UPSC Exam and ultimately service of your choice, be it IAS, IPS, IFS and more. That is evident from examples of the likes of Tina Dabi, Anudeeep Durishetty and many more such toppers over the years.

As can be seen here from UPSC’s official Notification: “The scope of the syllabus for optional subject papers (Paper VI and Paper VII) for the examination is broad of the honours degree level i.e. a level higher than the bachelors’ degree and lower than the masters’ degree. In the case of Engineering, Medical Science and law, the level corresponds to the bachelors’ degree“, it is evident that it requires more efforts than the subjects of General Studies.

At times it has been seen that few students excel their performance in these subjects so much that they end up taking the lead of 30-40 marks in their respective optional subjects over their peers. In this competitive age of UPSC Exam wherein on each mark, you see at least 5-6 toppers, it is quite a huge difference.

To help student score maximum marks in their optional subjects, we are glad to announce that from 10th September we are starting exclusive batches for following optional subjects:

2. Economy
3. Geography
