Due to the descriptive (Main) MPSC exam pattern, writing practice is extremely important. Chanakya Mandal Parivar gives special attention to test series conducted within a fixed timeframe. Separate Test Series for Preliminary and Main examinations are conducted before the exam following the Commission's pattern in a similar examination environment.

चालू घडामोडी (Current Affairs) Current Affairs Preparation
पूर्व आणि मुख्य, दोन्ही टप्प्यांवर चालू घडामोडीची अत्यंत महत्वाची भूमिका आहे. पूर्व परीक्षेमध्ये जवळपास 30 गुणांसाठी तर मुख्य परीक्षेमध्ये सामान्य अध्ययनाच्या प्रत्येक घटकात चालू घडामोडीच्या अनुषंगाने प्रश्न विचारले जातात. चालू घडामोडी आणि त्यावर आधारित अपेक्षित प्रश्नांचा सराव चाणक्य मंडल परिवारमध्ये घेतला जातो. शिवाय त्याच्या नोट्स सुद्धा विद्यार्थ्यांना दिल्या जातात.
Current Affairs plays a very important role in both Preliminary and Main stages. In the Preliminary exam, approximately 30 marks are allocated to current affairs, while in the Main exam, questions are asked in every component of General Studies pertaining to current affairs. At Chanakya Mandal Parivar, all subjects are taught according to the Module Pattern.
मॉड्यूल पॅटर्न म्हणजे सामान्य अध्ययनाचे विषय एका मागून एक घेतले जातात. एखादा विषय त्या विषयाचा अभ्यासक्रम पूर्ण होईपर्यंत शिकवला जातो व त्यानंतर दुसरा विषय शिकवला सुरुवात केली जाते. यामध्ये त्या विषयाच्या नोट्स आणि टेस्ट सिरीज यांचाही समावेश असतो.
The Module Pattern means that General Studies subjects are taken one after another. A subject is taught until its syllabus is completed, and then the next subject is started. This also includes notes and test series for that subject.
अशाप्रकारे हा पॅटर्न प्रत्येक विषय विद्यार्थ्यांना नीट समजला जाईल याची खात्री करून घेतो.
In this way, this pattern ensures that each subject is clearly understood by the students.

९. MPSC च्या परीक्षांचे टप्पे कसे असतात? 9. What are the stages of the MPSC examination?
संयुक्त पूर्व परीक्षा (Preliminary Examination): वस्तुनिष्ठ बहुपर्यायी (Objective MCQs). यामध्ये दोन अनिवार्य पेपर आहेत:
Combined Preliminary Examination: Objective multiple-choice questions (MCQs). There are two compulsory papers:
- पेपर १: सामान्य अध्ययन (100 प्रश्न, 200 गुण आणि कालावधी दोन तास)
- Paper 1: General Studies (100 questions, 200 marks, duration two hours)
- पेपर २: CSAT (80 प्रश्न, 200 गुण आणि कालावधी दोन तास)
- Paper 2: CSAT (80 questions, 200 marks, duration two hours)
टीप: पेपर क्रमांक दोनचे गुण अहर्ताकारी (Qualifying) स्वरूपाचे असून ह्या पेपरमध्ये किमान 33 टक्के गुण प्राप्त करणाऱ्या उमेदवारांच्या पेपर क्रमांक एक मधील गुणांच्या आधारे मुख्य परीक्षेच्या प्रवेशासाठी गुणांची किमान सीमारेषा निश्चित करण्यात येते.
Note: The marks of Paper 2 are qualifying in nature. The cut-off for admission to the Main examination is determined on the basis of the marks in Paper 1 of candidates who secure a minimum of 33% marks in this paper.
मुख्य परीक्षा (Mains Examination): लेखी स्वरूप (Subjective Type). यामध्ये निबंध (२५० गुण), मराठी आणि इंग्रजी भाषेचे २ पेपर (६०० गुण) आणि सामान्य अध्ययनाचे विषय (१००० गुण) मिळून एकूण ७ पेपर्स असतात. भाषा विषयांचे पेपर्स हे अहर्ताकारी (Qualifying) स्वरूपाचे असतात त्यामुळे मुख्य परीक्षा एकूण १२५० गुणांची असते.
Main Examination: Written (Subjective Type). It consists of a total of 7 papers: Essay (250 marks), 2 papers of Marathi and English languages (600 marks), and General Studies subjects (1000 marks). The language papers are qualifying in nature, so the Main examination is for a total of 1250 marks.
मुलाखत (Interview): मुख्य परीक्षेत उत्तीर्ण झालेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांची १७५ गुणांची मुलाखत घेतली जाते. (चाणक्य मंडलमध्ये 'अभिरूप मुलाखती' (Mock Interviews) घेऊन तज्ज्ञांमार्फत विद्यार्थ्यांना प्रत्यक्ष मुलाखतीसाठी तयार केले जाते.)
Interview: Students who pass the Main examination are interviewed for 175 marks. (At Chanakya Mandal, mock interviews are conducted and students are prepared for the actual interview by experts.)

सुरुवातीला अभ्यासक्रम (Syllabus) नीट समजून घ्यावा. त्या त्या विषयाच्या पायाभूत पुस्तकांनी सुरुवात करावी. जसे प्रत्येक विषयाची महाराष्ट्र स्टेट बोर्डची आणि NCERT ची काही पुस्तके: इतिहास, भूगोल, राज्यशास्त्र, अर्थशास्त्र आणि समाजशास्त्र इत्यादि.
First, understand the syllabus thoroughly. Begin with the basic books for each subject, such as some Maharashtra State Board and NCERT books for History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, etc.
यानंतर त्या त्या विषयाच्या संदर्भ साहित्याचा (Reference Books) अभ्यास करावा.
After that, study the reference books for each subject.
१२. चालू घडामोडींची (Current Affairs) तयारी करून घेतली जाते का? 12. Is Current Affairs preparation provided?

Yes! In the Preliminary examination, questions are asked for about 30 marks, and in every subject of the Main examination, questions based on current affairs are asked. किमान वय: १९ वर्षे.

Maximum age: 38 years for the Open category, with relaxation up to 43 years for backward class candidates (relaxation varies according to different government posts).
