Monsoon trek

At the beginning of the foundation course, we take children on a trek to Korigarh during monsoons. The aim of this trek is to let the children know about the forts, their history and their conservation. Also during this trek different activities related to team building, leadership and management are conducted.

Winter trek

Usually in the month of January or February, this residential trek to Raigad tests the willpower of the students. Various competitions are organized as part of this trek.

Relief Work for Disaster victims

Whenever the nation calls, Chanakya’s students are never far away. Our track record shows that whenever this country has faced any humanitarian crisis Chanakya has always been at the forefront in raising and army of volunteers

Film Club

We believe movies should be watched because they have the power to entertain, educate, and inspire. They often tell compelling stories, explore important themes, or showcase exceptional performances and filmmaking techniques. Watching good movies can broaden your perspective, evoke emotions, and provide a meaningful cultural experience. Additionally, they can serve as a form of escapism or relaxation, allowing you to immerse yourself in different worlds and narratives. Overall, watching good movies enriches your understanding of art, society, and human experiences.

Weekly Activities

As part of experiential learning every week at Chanakya Mandal ends with fun and games and activities. These activities teach important life skills such as team building, leadership, time management, group discussion etc.
Students are encouraged to make mistakes and more importantly to learn from mistakes.

Fort Construction

The first term of the foundation course ends with a fort building activity. In this, groups of students are formed and assigned the responsibility of building a fort. The fort of the students is completed before Diwali.

Artist of the Month

In order to give scope to the various talents of the students, to create a platform for it, the ‘Artist of the Month’ competition is held every month in the foundation course. Students are given at least three subjects under this competition. Students have to present these subjects through their own art. Students participate in this competition through many art forms like painting, poetry, writing, dance, sculpture.
